It's ON!

Okay, I'm a dessert first kind of person (and I have the thighs to prove it!) so let me remind you to check out my giveaway which I just arbitrarily decided will end on Wednesday (unless I forget).

Now, let's get down to business. I just turned 29. Do you know what that means? I have one stinking year, 365 days (minus however many days away it is now from my birthday) to achieve my 30 by 30 goals.

I'm hardcore serious about this. (mostly because it is day two. We'll see how it's going on day 302.) But let me give you a ride in my traveling time machine to day 302....lights beeping... "You are in the future. It is not as cool as the Jetsons have led you to believe. It is day 302 in the countdown to Jamey's birthday. SHE IS KICKING ASS!!!" ....and now you have been transported back to present day.

I let you have that little sneak peek because I'm going to do this. I HAVE to do this. This isn't a desperate grasp at not getting older, hanging on to my youth, or anything like that. This is absolutely the reverse of that.

This is about the fact that:

I. AM. BLESSED. TOTALLY. BLESSED. TO. BE. IN. MY. OWN. LIFE. AND. I. NEED. TO. LIVE. LIKE. IT.

(all those periods are another way of shaming my English teachers showing you how serious I am)

When I started my list back a little over a year ago, it was kind of a lark. It was a blog post. It's become more than that to me though.

This is a way for me to be sure that I don't get lost inside my own life.

If you'd like to see the progression of my 30 by 30 Goals you can check the link. If you don't care about the history of my goals ya big jerk just keep reading to see what the final list looks like.

To your great sorrow delight I'm going to break these down for you over the next few days. Anyone who would like to help me out in some way is welcome to!

Also this is slightly coincidental:

I have 30 goals to accomplish by my 30th birthday which is on the 30th.
